Necrophosis

A first-person horror adventure through a nightmare of bone and rot, built on the paintings of Zdzislaw Beksinski, with H. R. Giger and Lovecraft close behind. No weapons. Only what you find, and what finds you.

The world

Necrophosis takes place in a land that looks painted rather than built: dunes of ochre sand, cathedrals grown from ribs, and figures too tall to be alive. The studio names its debt openly. The art direction comes from Zdzislaw Beksinski, with H. R. Giger and Lovecraft in the shadows.

Full Consciousness and Subconsciousness

Necrophosis: Full Consciousness is the console edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, published by PQube on 28 May 2026. It includes the base game and the Subconsciousness chapter.

On PC, Subconsciousness is a separate DLC on Steam: a new story chapter through unseen layers of the self. The two names are different products and are listed separately in the stores.

The physical PS5 edition of Full Consciousness also includes The Shore: Enhanced Edition.

The artbook

Necrophosis: Digital Artbook collects 110 pages of creatures, environments and 3D sculpts made by Ares Dragonis during development.
